From early morning, people gathered on the streets. Many groups of young boys and girls formed teams. They tried to reach the handi, which was tied high above the ground. People cheered loudly as the teams made efforts. The sound of drums and music made the atmosphere lively.

3. Traffic Problems in Our Locality

Bharuch, February 20

The traffic problem in our area is getting worse every day. Many people are facing trouble because of the long traffic jams. Roads are crowded, and vehicles move very slowly. People are late for work and school due to the traffic.

The main reason for the problem is the high number of vehicles. Many people own cars and bikes, and the roads are not wide enough. Another reason is that drivers do not follow traffic rules. Some people drive on the wrong side of the road. Some do not stop at traffic signals. This makes the problem worse.

During rush hours, the situation becomes very bad. Buses and trucks take up too much space. People on two-wheelers try to move in between cars. This increases the risk of accidents. Pedestrians also find it difficult to cross the roads safely.

The traffic police are trying to control the situation. They are putting up new signals and signs. They are also giving fines to people who break rules. But the problem is still not solved. More parking spaces and better road planning are needed.

The government should take quick steps to fix the issue. More public transport should be made available. People should also follow traffic rules. Only then can we have smooth and safe roads in our area.

To: The Office of M.K. College of Commerce, Bharuch
Subject: Report on Lockdown Activities

The COVID-19 pandemic forced everyone to stay at home. Schools and colleges were closed. People could not go outside freely. It was a difficult time, but I used it wisely.

During the lockdown, I attended online classes. Teachers gave us notes and homework. I studied regularly and completed my assignments on time. It was new and different from regular classes.

Apart from studies, I also learned new skills. I helped my parents with household work. I read books, did drawing, and watched educational videos. It kept me busy and happy.

To stay fit, I did yoga and exercise daily. Sometimes, I played indoor games with my family. We also spent time together watching movies and talking. It made our bond stronger.

The lockdown was a tough period, but it taught me many lessons. I learned to be patient and value time. I also understood the importance of family and good health.

4. Report on Farmers and Farming Activities

To: The Office of M.K. College of Commerce, Bharuch
Subject: Report on Farmers and Farming in My Village

Farmers in my village work very hard. They wake up early in the morning and go to their fields. They grow crops like wheat, rice, and vegetables. Their work is very important for everyone.

Farming needs a lot of effort. Farmers plow the land, sow seeds, and water the crops. They use tractors and tools to make their work easier. Some farmers also keep cows and goats for milk and farming help.

The weather plays a big role in farming. If there is too much rain, the crops get damaged. If there is no rain, the crops do not grow well. Farmers also use fertilizers and pesticides to protect their plants.

Selling the crops is another challenge. Farmers take their produce to the market. Sometimes, they do not get a good price. They work hard, but their earnings are not always high. They need more support from the government.

Farmers are the backbone of our country. Without them, we will not get food. We should respect their work and help them in every way possible.
