GROUP DISCUSSION – 1
Topic: Will a day
come when the world would rid itself of (will be free from) all divisions of
castes, religions and races and a person will be considered as just a human
being without any artificial labels to identify him/her?

Neha (Moderator –
Opening):
Good morning everyone. Today’s topic
is whether the world will ever become free from divisions of caste, religion
and race. Let us share our views honestly and respectfully. I would like Amit
to begin the discussion.
Amit:
Thank you, Neha. I feel that removing
all these divisions completely is very difficult. These divisions have existed
for centuries in the society. Even today, many people are judged based on
their religion or caste. Though education is spreading, discrimination is still
seen deeply rooted in people’s mind. So, I feel the possibility of change is very
little.
Riya:
I partly agree with Amit, but I feel
positive about the future. The younger generation strongly supports equality
and human rights. Education, media, and social platforms are creating awareness
against discrimination. Therefore, I believe that gradual change is
possible if society continues on this path.
Karan:
I agree with the previous speakers and
would like to add another point. Laws and the constitution play a
crucial role in promoting equality. Many countries have anti-discrimination
laws. However, laws alone are not sufficient. Value-based education and
moral training from childhood are necessary for long-term change.
Amit:
Yes, Karan is right. Laws can
control behavior, but they cannot immediately change mindset. Many people
still follow outdated beliefs due to social pressure or fear of change.
Riya:
Still, we cannot lose hope. History
shows that many social evils like untouchability and slavery were reduced
because people stood against them. So, one day, even these divisions can
become weaker.
Kavita:
I would like to highlight the role of globalization
and cultural interaction. Today, people from different races and religions
work and live together. This promotes tolerance, mutual respect, and
brotherhood. Such interaction helps people understand that humanity is more
important than labels.
Neha (Moderator – Conclusion):
Thank you all for your valuable views.
To conclude, a world without caste, religious, and racial divisions may not be
possible immediately, but it is achievable in the long run. Through education,
awareness, economic equality, strong values, and collective effort, society
can move towards peace, unity, and human dignity.

GROUP DISCUSSION
– 2
Topic: As an extreme
sense of individualism and materialism has become the core aspect of life these
days, any sort of human relationship is relegated (downgraded) to the
background. Extreme individualism and materialism have weakened human
relationships.

Rahul (Moderator –
Opening):
Good morning everyone. The topic for
today’s discussion is whether extreme individualism and materialism have
weakened human relationships. I request Priya to start the discussion.
Priya:
Thank you, Rahul. I strongly agree with the topic. Nowadays, people are more
focused on money, status and personal success. Due to busy schedules, they
spend less time with family and friends. As a result, relationships have become
more formal and less emotional.
Sahil:
I agree with Priya to some extent. In the past, people lived in joint families
and shared quality time together. Today, mobile phones and social media have
replaced face-to-face communication. People talk online but rarely meet
personally.
Anjali:
I would like to present a balanced view. It is true that materialism has
increased, but it does not apply to everyone. Many people still value
relationships. During emergencies like the Covid-19 pandemic, people supported
and helped one another, showing that humanity still exists.
Priya:
Yes, Anjali, I agree. Good people still exist, but overall priorities have
changed. Career growth is important, but emotional bonding should not be
ignored.
Sahil:
I agree. The real issue is imbalance. If people learn to balance and manage
both personal success and relationships, human bonds can become stronger again.
Rahul (Conclusion):
To conclude, our group feels that
individualism and materialism have affected many relationships, but values like
love, care and support still survive. If people maintain balance between
success and emotions, relationships can grow stronger again.
